Pop Goes The Beatles – Episode #8 – Full Stereo

The Details:

As per usual, the biggest problem was the frequency loss (which you could hear mostly on Ringo’s cymbal crashes! Argh!).  So I used iZotope RX 9 and spectral recovery to digitally recover the lost frequencies which, originally topped out at about 10.5k but now are sitting nicely at about 16.3k.  Next I mixed each instrument into the stereo spectrum and rebalanced anything that got buried in their original mono mixes.  After patching some dropouts (and there were boatloads of ’em!) I went to work on the dialog (requests, etc.) which came from multiple sources, some obviously better than others.
