Years ago, I made it my goal to take the best and the worst of these recordings… and clean up every single one. Today, adding to the goal, I’m also remixing them to stereo. While you’ve probably heard my initial efforts in the past few years, this particular set took the longest and underwent a very detailed restoration. Through deep de-mixing, artifact cleanup and noise reduction, via traditional methods and AI technology working in tandem, then carefully re-equalized, this series reveals a treasure trove of music, much of it not available on the official BBC releases, that documents a phenominal period in the history of a legendary band.
